2012 NARSAD Young Investigator Grant Posted By: David Kennedy - Aug 16, 2011Tool/Resource: NITRC Community The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (formerly NARSAD) is pleased to announce its 2012 NARSAD Young Investigator Grant Program. This grant offers up to $30,000 a year for up to two (2) years to enable promising investigators to either extend their research fellowship training or to begin careers as independent research faculty. The program is intended to facilitate innovative research opportunities and supports basic, as well as translational and/or clinical investigators, however, research must be relevant to our understanding, treatment and prevention of serious psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar, mood and anxiety disorders, or child and adolescent psychiatric disorders. We will begin accepting applications on August 15th, with a deadline of September 15, 2011. All applications must be complete and submitted online via the Foundation’s website at http://www.bbrfoundation.org/YI. Faxed, emailed, or mailed applications will NOT be accepted.
