Tool/Resource: NITRC Community

All NITRC projects now have an associated 'biositemap'. Biositemaps represent a mechanism for computational biologists and bio-informaticians to openly broadcast and retrieve meta-data about biomedical resources. See http://biositemap.org/ for more information. For each $PROJECT at NITRC, its' biositemap can be found at http://www.nitrc.org/projects/$PROJECT/$... A 'master' biositemap containing all NITRC-listed projects is available at http://www.nitrc.org/NITRC_biositemap.rd... .

This functionality will facilitate resource discoverability throughout the 'web' of neuroscience resources. Example resource browser sites that are now NITRC-project aware include: biositemaps search tool (http://biositemaps.ncbcs.org/biositemaps) and the Clinical and Translational Resource Explorer (http://biositemaps.ncbcs.org/cirwp).
