HCP-First Level Analysis

Dear all,

I am currently working on a project where I aim to analyze minimally preprocessed rs-fMRI data from the HCP Development, HCP Young Adult, and HCP Aging datasets using the CONN toolbox. I applied functional_art and structural_segmentation for preprocessing.  The connectivity of all seeds appears extremely weak, with the entire brain covered in little dots of connectivity, which results in no meaningful results at the group-level analysis. Attached is an example figure showing the default mode network for one subject, which I believe does not look as it should.

Could this be due to a misalignment between the atlas or the gray/white matter/CSF masks and the functional images? Or might there be another issue I should look into? Any advice on how to address this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance
