   <title>NITRC GForge Extensions v2.1.19 Released</title>

   <description>We are pleased to announce the release of NITRC GForge Extensions Version 2.1.19.  NITRC uses GForge as its core and has developed numerous customizations and extensions on top of the GForge code base which, like GForge, are open source.  This release represents the latest release of the NITRC server code.&lt;br /&gt;

   <description>Seven years of custom development on top of FusionForge/GForge (http://fusionforge.org/) have resulted in the NITRC you see today. As an NIH-funded project, we are pleased to give the NITRC code back to the community at http://www.nitrc.org/projects/nitrcext/ . This latest release includes significant features and fixes from the past year, including improved linking to external repositories such as GitHub, svntracker support, anonymous SVN access, integration with nutch 2.1, and lost username recovery.</description>

From bug fixes to minor enhancements such as adding graphical text editors to major enhancements like MediaWiki integration, supporting ratings and reviews, and enhanced searching, all NITRC code is now available for download.
