June 2011 VAMCA Update

The new version of VAMCA improves labeling and displaying mean surface anatomy, robustness of reading coordinate input text files, accuracy of surface distance measurements, accuracy of auxilliary coordinate plotting, and some minor bugs.

The update .zip file can be downloaded and unzipped to overwrite the files in the main VAMCA directory thereby updating the software to its most recent version.

April 2011 VAMCA Update

This file can be downloaded and unzipped to overwrite the original 2009 release (and the August 2010 update) and includes all of the changes in the 2010 update as well.

This cumulative update makes a few changes/additions to the 2010 update mainly having to do with the display of data on mean cortical surface anatomy.

August 2010 VAMCA update

So there's an optional update available for users of VAMCA.

This is an optional update package for the VAMCA package that adds a few additional features:

1) Better documentation and tutorial
2) Permits more sophisticated ROI density analyses
3) Allows one to enter activated anatomically specified ROIs directly when studies only report those rather than normalized 3D coordinates (for use in ROI analyses only).
4) Allows the use of average cortical surfaces rather than many individual surfaces in order to speed up analyses or to handle very large analyses.
5) Some minor tweaks throughout.

To use, just unzip it into the VAMCA directory that you made when installing the main package (so you have to download the main large package first, and then unzip the update on top of that).
