Sunday, November 16, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Chaired by Daniel Gardner
Location: Renaissance Washington: Renaissance East
Speakers: G. Ascoli, D. Gardner, E.G. Jones, K.L. Olsen. Special Guests: J. G. Bjaalie, E. N. Brown, S. Crook, E.P. Gardner, B. Roysam, S. Schiff, J. Van Horn

Our theme for 2008 is Software for Hard Neuroscience. In a social and collegial setting, four very short presentations will highlight computational, large-scale, and data-driven resources, as well as NSF and joint funding. Special guests will then kickoff, and audience members continue, a stereo open mike session in which one-minute talks on large-scale shareable data alternate with those on tools, methods, resources and algorithms that aid data sharing or analysis.
