How to view a point cloud in cross section

<p>As you can see in the video, the point clouds are stacked, but I want to see only the point clouds located in a cross-section of the brain. Is this possible?</p>

RE: Exporting MeshView

Hi,

I'm sorry about answering so late, and on top of that it's a no. Showing sections together with the atlas in 3D is an idea which I want to do but never find the time. And I simply don't know Arivis.
However if you happen to be a QuickNII user, you may want to try if Rembrandt Bakker's "Brain Composer" does what you need: https://scalablebrainatlas.incf.org/composer/?template=ABA_v3 (it supports uploading QuickNII data under "Import file from my computer")

I hope this helps a little, best regards,
Exporting MeshView

Hello,
I have a few queries regarding MeshView. Firstly is it possible to superimpose raw pngs onto the MouseBrain Atlas, as well as the json files? Secondly, Is it possible to export the data to then visualize it in Arivis as well?

Many thanks!

RE: Welcome to General forum for MeshView

Hi,

I hope you both get this mail - I didn't get yours because as it seems I wasn't "subscribed" to the forum...
The good news is that WHSv3 exists, https://www.nesys.uio.no/MeshView/meshview.html?atlas=WHS_SD_rat_atlas_v3 is the link for it.
In fact even the brand new WHSv4 atlas is available: https://www.nesys.uio.no/MeshView/meshview.html?atlas=WHS_SD_rat_atlas_v4

Sorry for the inconvenience, I'm subscribed to the forum now, at least that's what I hope.
Best regards,
