<p>I tried to download the REX toolbox but I got an errow after clicking on the download button. Is there any other source for downloading?</p>
RE: Extract scan date along with ROI

Dear Elisa,
I am also trying to use REX for ROI Analysis and I was wondering if you probably know what each value in txt files are indicating to?

Best,
Extract scan date along with ROI

Hi,

We are extracting ROI values from a large number of scans, all from the same subject. It works well but to make the subsequent analysis of the extracted values less error-prone, it would be very helpful to be able to extract the scan date alongside the ROI estimate.

So, right now REX outputs a .txt file with a vector of ROI estimates, one for each volume. We would like the same .txt file but with two vectors: one corresponding to the ROI estimate, and another one having the scan date, perhaps extracted from the metadata.

Would this be possible? If so, how? If you could point me to the place in the REX script where each volume is loaded and information is extracted, I might be able to do the rest. I went through the script but it wasn't obvious to me that this would be possible or straightforward

Thanks
Hello! I would like to download your interesting toolbox, but the link seems to be broken; is there another source for the download?
Using an older version of rex (downloaded probably over 2 years ago), this error does not come up, and everything works well.

Did the code change for a particular reason?

Hi,

After uploading my source and ROI files, and selecting extract, I get this odd error message:
Hello,

I want to do ROI analysis for each patient, but i have a problem. While creating for each patient's output roi values (voxels and coordinates) are same. My image format is "smwc.nii".

Why this is happening?

Thanks,
Problem during output export

Dear all,

The following error pops up after extracting ROI estimates with REX in both SPM8 and SPM12:

Reference to non-existent field 'output_folder'.

Error in rex>rex_do (line 762)
name_dat=fullfile(params.output_folder,[ROInames{rr},'.rex.data.txt']);
Error in rex>rex_gui (line 442)
[data.params.ROIdata,data.params.ROInames,data.params.ROIinfo.basis,data.params.ROIinfo.voxels,data.params.ROIinfo.files,data.params.ROIinfo.select,data.params.ROIinfo.trans]=rex_do(data,~dat
Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback

I assume it is a problem with finding the path to the output folder, but I cannot identify how does REX obtain that information.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

All the best,
extracting adjusted contrast using REX

Hello,

I am not sure whether this forum is still active. If so, I hope I can get some help.

We are using REX to extract ROI signals from a second level group level analysis. In the analysis, we used single subject's contrast images as input, and we added multiple regressors to the model. After the model was complete, we used REX to extract from SPM.mat to get mean signal values in each ROI for all subjects. The current REX only extracts the values from the input contrast maps, rather then the values that are adjusted by the regressors in the model. Is there any way to use REX to extracted the model ADJUSTED mean ROI values using REX?

Thank you,
